About

The Faculty of Civil Engineering at BME is strongly committed to advancing efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability in the construction industry. These priorities guide the development of our academic programs and research activities. We actively seek collaboration with companies that share these goals, aiming to foster knowledge exchange and cooperation.

In 2023, we joined the Digital Twin program, and we are participating in the international joint degree master's program Digital Twins for Infrastructures and Cities, as well as in the establishment of a European Center of Excellence.

We hosted the first DigiTwin conference in 2023 and the second one in 2024 at BME, focusing primarily on professionals working in geotechnical and infrastructure sectors. In 2025, we broaden our scope to include the entire construction industry, with a special focus on the application of artificial intelligence. We invite professionals and stakeholders to join us at the BME campus for the DigiTwin 2025 Conference on June 19, starting at 9:00 AM.

The conference will conclude with guided visits to the Faculty of Civil Engineering's laboratories, organized with the support of ÉVOSZ.
